Facilitating Productive Meetings 2025 - With as much time as is spent in meetings and knowing the expense of pulling individuals from other work to gather together, it’s important to ensure each meeting runs smoothly and achieves its intended purpose. Join us for this workshop if you’re interested in getting more accomplished in your meetings with less hassle!
This workshop is intended to support any leader with the various angles to consider as part of any change effort—the head, the heart, and the processes. How to communicate the changes, as well as how to move teams through the natural reactions to change are explored. It offers opportunity to practice an effective technique for addressing staff concern or resistance while also satisfying the objectives of whatever change is necessary for organizational success.If you hold an Administrative Assistant role, come power up and polish off the skills needed to keep you energized and effective. Join this workshop to learn more about how to respond to different personalities, serve others well while establishing priorities for assigned and requested responsibilities, determine your work capacity, assertively set respectful boundaries with others, delegate tasks to others, speak into your needs, and bring value to your work.

In this workshop, we will investigate current departmental and/or organizational culture from a variety of angles in order to achieve a full sense of where it stands today and the opportunities it possesses. We’ll then begin the work of creating a rough draft of how to move forward from here.

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome - 2025

If you’ve ever felt like an “Imposter” in your role, you are not alone. Up to 82% of people report suffering from some form of “Imposter Syndrome”. It is defined as a pattern of thinking where the individual doubts their skills, talents or accomplishments. They suffer from a deep fear that they will be exposed as a “fraud” who does not deserve the position they have been given or the status and or respect they have achieved. They often attribute their success to luck and frequently struggle with feelings of inadequacy and decreased self-worth.
These feelings are quite common in individuals that work in healthcare along with high-achieving leaders. It has been recognized to affect both men and women equally. It disrupts our ability to get out of our own way, get things done, develop meaningful relationships and ultimately achieve the greatness we deserve.

Pediatric Assessment/Emergencies - 2025

It is imperative to recognize that pediatric patients are not little adults. This course is designed to review the anatomy and physiology considerations that differentiate the assessment of the pediatric patient from that of an adult. Within the assessment findings, children will demonstrate subtle clues that their condition is beginning to deteriorate requiring the healthcare provider to rapidly intervene before they decompensate. Throughout the day several pediatric emergencies will be reviewed along with describing priority interventions needed/required. Knowledge learned will be applied and integrated into several simulated case studies.

Case Studies 101: Developing and Facilitating Case Studies - 2025

Come to this workshop prepared to be highly interactive and learn new and exciting ways to enhance clinical practice, while breathing new life into competencies through case study development. Engaging all staff in a higher level of thinking is a necessity to enhance patient outcomes, improve processes, and boost organizational workflow. Developing and facilitating case studies can help us do just that. Learn the key components of case study development and review the skill set required to facilitating the case in a group setting. During this workshop the participants will work through at least two case studies using the development template facilitated by the presenter. Finally, there will be an experiential opportunity to practice writing a case study with other colleagues utilizing the case study template.
