Data Entry & Credentialing Specialist

The Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative, Sauk City, WI, has an onsite position for a Data Entry & Credentialing Specialist in our Credential Department. Medical credentialing verifies that physicians and other healthcare professionals have the required training and certification along with professional experience to provide healthcare services to patients. This position requires knowledge of credentialing standards and processes along with the ability to accurately implement them for various healthcare providers. Candidates should have an interest and efficient skills for working with databases, web based queries, and imaging software. Effective communication skills using email and phone along with attention to detail are essential for this position. A qualified candidate is accurate and has the ability to learn and follow processes in a timely manner. A two year degree in a relevant field along with previous work experience is preferred. Administrative Assistant

Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative is looking for an energetic candidate to join our administrative team! Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Greeting clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
  • Promoting RWHC on social media platforms.
  • Providing assistance to the Education Department including but not limited to managing registrations and billings, CEU requirements, testimonials, and providing branding of educational materials.
  • Provide support to related organizations, including but not limited to maintaining a membership list, assisting with educational events, website updates, social media posts, and designing promotional/marketing materials.
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, and emailing and data entry.
  • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

Education: Minimum of Associate degree or High school degree with 5 years of work experience: Computer skills are critical and knowledge of medical terminology or rural healthcare are preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as wor76d processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Software skills: Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft Word/Excel Spreadsheet/Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to share and create posts on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and other similar channels.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks in an efficient, accurate manner.
  • Able to handle interruptions and make needed changes to daily schedule as necessary.
  • Commitment to quality and following RWHC standards, policies, practices and procedures.
  • Courtesy, tact and the ability to get along with coworkers as a team member, and the ability to keep sensitive information strictly confidential are essential.

Schedule:

  • Full time position consisting of 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE).
  • 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
