Overcoming Imposter Syndrome - 2024
Event Starts: 2/2/2024 9:00 AM Event Ends: 2/2/2024 12:00 PM
If you’ve ever felt like an “Imposter” in your role, you are not alone. Up to 82% of people report suffering from some form of “Imposter Syndrome”. It is defined as a pattern of thinking where the individual doubts their skills, talents or accomplishments. They suffer from a deep fear that they will be exposed as a “fraud” who does not deserve the position they have been given or the status and or respect they have achieved. They often attribute their success to luck and frequently struggle with feelings of inadequacy and decreased self-worth. These feelings are quite common in individuals that work in healthcare along with high-achieving leaders. It has been recognized to affect both men and women equally. It disrupts our ability to get out of our own way, get things done, develop meaningful relationships and ultimately achieve the greatness we deserve.
