Wisconsin Quality Residency 2026-2027

The Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA), and the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC), along with the support of the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health (WORH) are excited to announce registration is open for the next cohort of the Wisconsin Quality Residency Program.

Since the Wisconsin Quality Residency Program began in 2014, overwhelmingly positive feedback has been received. Here is some feedback received from past Quality Residents:

  • The presenters were great! (multiple modules)
  • I liked all the resources that presenters are supplying. It is interesting to see how they are used to correct findings. (Accreditation and Survey Readiness Module)
  • The resources and where to access them will be very beneficial when needed. (Quality Measure Requirements Module)
  • I liked all of the interactive activities! (Performance Improvement, Change Management Module)
  • I loved all the tools that were presented and LOVED the real life examples. (Safety, High Reliability, Risk Module)

Those from Critical Access Hospitals should contact Janet Wagner and Jenny Pritchett (see contact information below) for possible funding that may be available from the WORH Flex grant.

Individual module registration is available for quality and other interested current, or rising, hospital leaders looking for a “refresher” in a specific topic. The fee is $250 per module. Registration for the full program is $2,500.
