Cella Janisch-Hartline, RN, BSN, PCC Professional Certified Coach, is the Nursing Leadership Senior Manager for Rural WI Health Cooperative (RWHC). Cella brings her experience from over 40 years in various rural healthcare leadership positions to her work as she combines her passion for nursing, leadership, coaching and teaching. Named the 2018 Outstanding Educator through the National Rural Health Association, she engages healthcare participants across the country with her humorous, action-oriented and compassionate approach.

RN's from across the health care continuum.

Program Description: 

This workshop is designed to review and differentiate through the signs and symptoms the many causes of chest pain. Throughout the day the learner will be engaged in the considerations of cardiac assessment, patient's risk factors and signs/symptoms for cardiac related problems, critical thinking activities and simulated case studies. In addition, priority interventions or emergency treatment will be highlighted for each cause of chest pain. Sign up now as you do not miss this great review of chest pain.

Program Objectives: Participants will be able to:

  • Review cardiovascular specific assessment considerations
  • Discuss cardiac risk factors 
  • Differentiate causes of chest pain related to signs and symptom considerations
  • Determine emergency or priority interventions of such cause 
  • Engage in critical thinking activities and integrate knowledge learned through simulated case studies
