WASHINGTON, D.C.Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will convene a committee hearing on Thursday, May 16, 2024, titled, “Rural Health Care: Supporting Lives and Improving Communities.” The hearing will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

The witnesses at Thursday’s hearing will be:

  • Keith J. Mueller, Ph.D., Gerhard Hartman Professor of Health Management and Policy, Director, Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI), Iowa City, Iowa
  • Lori Rodefeld, M.S., Director of GME Development at the Wisconsin Residency Planning and Development Technical Assistance Center, Sauk City, Wisconsin
  • Michael Topchik, M.A., Partner, Chartis Center for Rural Health, Chicago, Illinois
  • Jeremy P. Davis, MHA, President and CEO of Grande Ronde Hospital and Clinics, La Grande, Oregon
